(WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) – There’s only a few weeks before school is back in session at the University of Central Florida, and right before more students are expected to flood the campus, many students who live in an apartment complex near the school dealt with a scare. Detectives with the UCF Police department said a an unknown man walked into one student’s apartment with a gun Saturday night. The situation was so scary a mass text was sent out to everyone on campus by the university telling them to stay inside their rooms and lock the doors. FOX 35’s Derrol Nail spoke with one student who says the incident hit a little too close to home for him.
