What We Learned: Failure Could Be Edmonton Oilers’ Only Path To Success | Puck Daddy – Yahoo Sports

Two FBI agents shot, injured in St. Louis County, Missouri – WDRB 41 Louisville News

It’s not easy, necessarily, but when you’ve been bad for so long you at least have the benefit of having covetable assets which have become suddenly expendable. This has happened to a lesser extent in Tampa and on Long Island, to choose more recent examples, because these franchises don’t want to waste the primes of guys who might already be moving into the Hall of Fame conversation at ludicrously young ages. Again, we saw the Oilers enter the season bereft of center depth in an almost shocking capacity, and it’s no wonder that it’s often opponents’ second lines which are ripping Edmonton apart at the seams; they just don’t have the manpower to match. Likewise, the lack of defensemen worth having has grown worrisome, because you can’t keep throwing big heavy weights at a drowning Justin Schultz and hope his theoretically dazzling but practically fizzling offensive upside somehow alleviates all his own-zone woes.

‘The Walking Dead’ Recap: Everyone Is Up to Something – Christian Serratos – Zimbio

He tells her a sob story about a guy named Tyler who took what was supposed to be his evac truck. At the last minute, Dawn requested Sgt. Lamson stay behind, and Tylers van was blown up in whatever explosion made the mess in the parking lot. Tyler is still down there, a zombie, melted into the pavement, and he feels guilty: it should have been Lamson down there. Because Lamsons name is Bob, and that is still an open wound to Sasha, she tells him she will shoot zombie Tyler and put him out of his misery. She wont take Lamson outside, but does take him to a window so he can point Tyler out. As soon as the chance arises, he knocks Sasha into the window so hard she is knocked unconscious and Lamson scampers away.

He breaks through the floorboards and escapes the church. A nail in his foot – a stigmata homage if ever there was one- causes him to hobble which makes him easy prey for a female walker who happens to be lurking about. Although he is able to body slam her to the ground (HOW or WHY did he leave that machete behind? He’s put himself in a real pickle!) he can’t bring himself to finish her off with a rock to the head because she’s wearing a cross necklace on her neck. Given her proximity to the church and taste in jewelry, it’s obvious she’s a former parishioner and Father Gabriel is nowhere near reconciling a la early Herschel that the walkers are nothing but the leftover shells of formerly warm bodied humans.
